Food trucks, music and performances, and organization booths will be on hand for the festivities. The festival will open as soon as the first marchers arrive and run until 6:00 pm. Setup for the mini-festival will begin at 10:00am.

Pittsburgh Pride Mini-Festival Day 1: FREE to attend Allegheny Commons Park West. The march will step off from the City-County Building at noon and proceed down Grant Street, turn left at Sixth Avenue, continue on Seventh Street and the Andy Warhol Bridge, through Allegheny Center, and into Allegheny Commons Park West for the mini-festival. Bring your signs, your banners, your music, your flags, your face masks, and your hand sanitizer. We will all march together as a community in support of the LGBTQ and QTPOC communities. Saturday June 5, 2021: Pittsburgh Pride Revolution March route: Line up and gathering begins at 11:00 am in front of the City-County Building at 414 Grant Street downtown.

Kickoff Pride season with a big, gay picnic! Celebrate Memorial Day weekend with the Washington County Gay Straight Alliance. That evening a dance was held at the Unitarian Church. The queer streetcar traveled from Market Square, through Castle Shannon, Dormont, Beechview and back to downtown. The day before, Gay Alternatives Pittsburgh (GAP) chartered a local streetcar.
About 150 marchers trekked uphill from Market Square to Flagstaff Hill in Oakland. Pittsburgh’s first Pride Parade occurred on Jonly four years after the Stonewall riots in New York City.
